Jeni Dees (Director, Hair & Make-Up) Bad Seed marks Jeni’s first opportunity to direct for Wheaton Drama, but is her 20th time in the director’s seat.  She holds degrees in Acting and Directing, as well as Radio and Television Performance from Southern Illinois University.  She is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and performed locally and toured with Comedy Sportz Chicago.  She has performed in such exotic locals as Flint, Michigan and Hazelhurst, Wisconsin and directed for local theatres as well as co-writing and directing the kick-off show for the RSNA Convention at the Arie Crowne Theatre in McCormick Place.  (She hopes you all can beat the enthusiasm of 5,000 radiologists!)  Her experience at WDI includes performances in both A Streetcar Named Desire and To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday. She has designed Hair and Make-Up for City of Angels, CHICAGO and Little Women, and assisted on The Drowsy Chaperone.  She has served on the Play Reading Committee and produced and written for the theatre’s annual awards night, the Colbys, for the last two years.  When not at the theatre, she enjoys spending time cooking for her husband and friends and playing with her “zoo” of two dogs and two cats.  She would like to thank the WDI Artistic Committee for taking a chance with this show and for choosing her to helm it!  Much love to the Bad Kid Krewe!
