Jim Liesz (Properties) is a life member of WDI, this year celebrating thirty years of membership. During his tenure with this organization, Jim has served on the WDI board a number of times, most notably as President from 1998-2000. He can sometimes be found “treading the boards” himself, but primarily he is noted for his stage direction both here and at Village Theatre Guild in Glen Ellyn, where he resides. Shows he has directed for Wheaton Drama include our inaugural production at Playhouse 111, Follies in 1994, A Chorus Line, The Secret Garden, Annie, They’re Playing Our Song, The Wiz, South Pacific, and two different productions of Noises Off.  Jim is a retired high school English and theatre director and is loving his retirement!
