Jim Van de Velde (Lighting Design) keeps busy at WDI and other area theatres and has chaired lighting crew for many of our productions during the last six years. His lighting designs at Playhouse 111 include: Black Comedy, Bad Seed, Incorruptible, Picasso at the Lapine Agile, 1776, All My Sons, The Drowsy Chaperone, CHICAGO, To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday, Oliver!, City of Angels, How to Succeed…, Bus Stop, Cabaret, The Wizard of Oz, I Remember Mama, Oklahoma!, Nunsense, A Christmas Story, Little Shop of Horrors, The Odd Couple, A Year With Frog and Toad, and A Streetcar Named Desire. Jim has also appeared on stage as Richard Bravo in Bad Seed and as Judge Capt. Julius Alexander Randolph in A Few Good Men. He currently serves as WDI’s president and dedicates this show “to my lovely Jane for adjusting to my crazy schedule.”
