Children’s Workshops
Every summer, Wheaton Drama is proud to offer a quality, affordable children’s workshop. The children engage in a week-long exploration of the performing arts. Guided by experienced Wheaton Drama members, including former professional entertainers and instructors, they learn about acting, dancing, singing, and stage-craft. The workshops help the children build skills, leading up to a live performance for their families on the Wheaton Drama stage!
Workshops are available for 1st and 2nd graders, 3rd to 5th graders, 6th to 8th graders, and high school students. Instruction and performance selections are customized to the needs and abilities of each group. High school students are offered the opportunity to become teaching assistants and experience the joy of introducing younger children to live theatre. If you have any questions about the program, contact us at workshops@wheatondrama.org
