“Kids Acting 101” – Theatre Technique

A five-week workshop designed to strengthen the acting “muscle.” Through acting games and exercises, each week students will work on a different aspect of acting technique such as movement, voice, characterization, pantomime, and others. Teamwork, focus, and listening are added benefits in this acting workshop.

“Charlie and the Golden Ticket: Children’s Play Adaptation”

A nine-week workshop designed to give students the opportunity to present, perform, and create a mini showcase of an original play. Students will be cast as different roles in the production and learn the needed skills to present the final production to parents and guests at the end of the session.

• Grades 1-9: 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Note: Classes are subject to change based on enrollment. Registration for each class will be open at least one month before the class begins. If there are not enough students enrolled in any given session then the class may be cancelled. Notification of a cancelled class will be sent out one week prior to the start of class and all money will be refunded. Minimum number of students is 5 students for “Kids Acting 101” and 10 students for “Charlie and the Golden Ticket”.

Staff: All staff are certified teachers who go through extensive background checks each year.
