COVID 19 Safety
The safety of our guests, members, cast and crew are of utmost importance to Wheaton Drama. The COVID 19 pandemic, at its height, forced us to close our doors for more than a year. We are joyfully reopening them again, but cautiously. As a general policy, Wheaton Drama will follow the guidelines of the CDC and State of Illinois on maintaining safety. We know these rules will change over time.
Current guidance allows us to open our theatre to full capacity. To keep ALL our communities safe, the following policies are in place:
- Due to the current mandate by Governor Pritzker, all persons attending Wheaton Drama’s production of “Hauptmann” must be masked, show proof of vaccination and ID at the door, or a valid COVID test result not more than 72 hrs old, prior to attendance. Please be advised that every precaution is being taken for your safety, as well as that of our actors.
Our houses are only going to be half-sold, allowing for social distancing in our theatre. The state is requiring 6 feet between actors and audience, which will mean dismantling most of our front row. Please note: the cast will be performing WITHOUT masks.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our community safe.
