Wheaton Drama Announces Audition Schedule for Upcoming Season

Wheaton Drama is pleased to announce audition dates for its upcoming season, featuring a diverse lineup of musicals, comedies, family favorites, and classic mystery. Community members of all experience levels are encouraged to audition and become part of another exciting year of live theatre.

Big Fish

Auditions: July 12–13
Callbacks: July 14

Based on the celebrated novel and film, Big Fish follows a son’s journey to understand his larger-than-life father through a tapestry of fantastical stories, adventure, and heartfelt discovery.

She Loves Me

Auditions: September 13–14
Callbacks: September 15

This charming romantic musical tells the story of two feuding coworkers who unknowingly become anonymous pen pals, discovering an unexpected connection along the way.

Miracle on 34th Street

Auditions: November 8–9
Callbacks: November 11

Presented in the style of a classic 1940s radio broadcast, Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Radio Play brings the beloved holiday story to life through a talented ensemble of actors and sound effects artists. Filled with warmth, humor, and holiday spirit, it celebrates faith, hope, and the magic of believing.

Into the Breeches!

Auditions: November 8–9
Callbacks: November 11

Set during World War II, this witty and inspiring comedy follows a group of women determined to keep their community theatre alive when circumstances force them to take center stage.

Disney’s Frozen Jr.

Auditions: December 5–6
Callbacks: December 7

This Youth Theatre production is open to performers ages 18 and under. Featuring beloved characters and memorable songs, Disney’s Frozen Jr. follows two sisters as they navigate love, courage, and self-discovery in the kingdom of Arendelle.

Mystery Show

Auditions: January 31–February 1
Callbacks: February 3

Murder on the Orient Express

Auditions: April 11–12
Callbacks: April 13

Adapted from Agatha Christie’s classic novel, this suspenseful mystery places famed detective Hercule Poirot aboard a snowbound train where every passenger is a suspect.
