JAMES TERRILL-LIESZ MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

At Wheaton Drama, we find it of utmost importance to support the future of the arts within our local community & beyond. As such, we are pleased to continue offering scholarships to local high school seniors who have been involved in and will continue to be involved with the arts.  The James Terrill-Liesz Memorial Scholarship is given in  memory of Wheaton Drama Lifetime Member, Jim Terrill-Liesz, who was both a teacher and active theatre member for decades.

ELIGIBILITY

Any interested student must be actively involved in theater (performance, technical, or management), and planning to continue participating in theatre arts. Traditionally, we award two $2,000 scholarships.

TO APPLY

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 31, 2025

All materials must be received by the deadline.

The online application through Google Forms will be made available in January of 2025.

  • The Google Form can be found here.

  • All scholarship applications must include two (2) letters of recommendation. Letters should be scanned and attached to the application. If they come to the student in a sealed envelope they can be mailed to the Education Governor at Wheaton Drama, 111 N Hale Street, Wheaton, IL 60187 by March 31, 2025.

  • If you or any interested students are having trouble accessing the form, we will be happy to email you a PDF version of the application.
