The year is 1939 and Hollywood producer David O. Selznick is trying to make a movie from the novel Gone with the Wind. He’s got the sets; he’s got the stars … he just doesn’t have a screenplay that captures the fire of the book that took America by storm. Desperate, he locks the screenwriter and director in his office for a week of manic writing. (Loosely) Based on real events, this fast-paced comedy recreates the finalization of the 1939 screenplay for Gone with The Wind. Based on a true story—loosley!—this hilarious production of the legendary Hollywood story of the making of Gone with the Wind will leave you panting for breath.
